Extra Credit Directions
These extra credit/enrichment challenges (ECs) are usually weekly, 10-20-minute online assignments that students can do for each unit.
In order to receive full credit, all submissions must:
1) be submitted on while we are in that unit,
2) be the individual's own work, not copied from your friend,
3) be handwritten, and with answers written in complete sentences
4) have the website address you used (if you used a website) cited in full unless I provided it
!!! Important !!! You may use Wikipedia.org as a source but "wikipedia.org" or "google.com" is not an appropriate citation. You must have the entire citation (for example: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Renaissance). It is good practice for those of you going to college or any adult education. At no time should wikianswers.com, yahooanswers.com or any "...answers.com" website be used for anything in this class :). Those sites are not reliable sources. You will also be laughed out of your college classes for citing them.
You may, of course, consider your parents as a source. Your parents know many of the answers and often enjoy helping with these questions, so ask them, too!

- All odd numbered unit ECs count toward homework grades.
- All even numbered unit ECs count toward classwork grades.
- For every even numbered unit EC you complete with 100% score you also earn 2 points on a quiz grade and for every odd numbered unit EC you complete with a 100% score you also earn 1 point on a test grade to be added at the end of the term.
- Any EC submitted with two or more mistakes risks losing the opportunity for any credit. It isn’t fair to those who put in more effort to find the right answer.

Some of these have expired. Be sure to check below.
